About
The Drake family came to Boise in the 1850’s over the Oregon Trail and homesteaded a significant amount of the Boise Valley. After returning from Service in the Army in WWI Samuel Drake started the plumbing business in Boise with his son Warren Drake. The original office was located where the Boise City Hall building is currently located in downtown Boise. The company was incorporated as Drake Plumbing & Heating Co. in 1956 with Warren Drake bringing his three sons into the business. By 1979 two of the three sons had left the business to pursue other interests. Don Drake, President at that time brought both of his sons into the business, and after more than 40 years sold the business to his two sons Bill and Randy Drake P.E. currently operate the Company.
